About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior Sales Associate to join our Edinburgh team.

This role is ideal for someone who loves styling, building genuine relationships with customers and creating exceptional in-store experiences. Alongside day-to-day sales, you’ll play an important role in visual merchandising, stock management, clientelling and supporting the wider team.
Depending on experience and interest, there may also be opportunities to gain exposure to areas of the business such as buying, events, content and e-commerce.
Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.

Main Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales
Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and inspiring shopping experience.
Build strong relationships with customers through styling appointments, clientelling and follow-up communications.
Share product knowledge confidently and help customers make considered purchasing decisions.
Support the achievement of store sales targets and key performance indicators.
Handle customer enquiries professionally in-store, via phone and email.

Store Operations
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the store.
Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Process deliveries, replenishment and stock movements accurately.
Support monthly stocktakes and general stock management.
Maintain high standards of presentation and housekeeping throughout the store.

Visual Merchandising
Help maintain treen’s visual standards across the shop floor and windows.
Support seasonal updates, launches and promotional activity.
Ensure products are presented in line with the treen aesthetic and brand values.

Product & E-commerce Support
Assist with Shopify product uploads and stock management.
Support product launches and online merchandising where required.
Help ensure product information is accurate across all channels.

Team Support
Act as a positive role model within the team.
Support the onboarding and training of new team members where required.
Contribute ideas and feedback to help improve store performance and customer experience.

Skills & Experience

Previous retail experience, ideally within fashion, lifestyle or premium retail.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
A genuine interest in sustainable fashion and independent brands.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident using technology and retail systems, ideally including Shopify.
A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Experience in visual merchandising, clientelling or e-commerce would be advantageous but is not essential.
